Can 320,000 Blue Beans Solve this Maze? 4K

The last maze video was fun so I wanted to make another one that fills more of the screen. Again, made with molecular + (previously pyroevil’s molecular script), in Blender, rendered in Cycles. I like the blue colour but maybe that orange is too much - thoughts?

I love how some beans are just pushed up into caves by the magnitude of the flow

It would be cool if the first 1000 beans to exit the maze were coloured red, so we could see how they toss and tumble through the maze before they finish.

"How efficient do you want your puzzle solving program to be?"
"No."

Youtubes compression was really harsh to this one.

Nobody seems to have mentioned this in the comments, but the first weird thing I noticed was that after a bunch of blue beans got stuck in a dead end, they would start moving again for seemingly no reason, and this movement would speed up, and the beans would turn into a fuzzy blur. It looks very wrong. Why is that happening? It is very un-bean-like.

I was blue bean number 126, 432 and this exercise was pretty claustrophobia-inducing for me, tbh.

All of the rapidly moving beans just turned into blue TV static

I kept waiting for them to break containment.

Just imagine being in that maze running away from the beans and making the wrong turns

With actual liquid in real life it's much more impressive because pressure prevents, to some extent at least, water to get through wrong holes, here it's basically just brute forcing it...

The color combo is awesome. Also, the answer is yes

If you call filling the entire space beating the maze, then sure.

I beat it at the thumbnail... Also of course they will. Anything will make the maze if enough pressure gets pushed into it. It might even reach there first since you can't really fill the deadends.

Why is this so aesthetically pleasing?

AIN'T NO WAY some beans just solved a maze faster than a real human person. I am dumber than beans. Damn.

I can’t be the only one who thinks having dead ends keep flowing looks real bad.

I would expect round objects forced through rectangular tunnels to jam. In reality the force of friction would eventually stop the beans. If the beans are irregular rather than spheres then this becomes more likely. If there is a great deal of pressure then the amount of friction will be magnified at particular points by the high pressure. As a frictionless simulation this does seem to work.

My brain meanwhile:
They do not think. They only conquer. And they will conquer until the end

bro doesnt believe in friction.
it would have piled up on top after about 0:01
