Bruno - Hey John. It seems the age of Disney animated sequels is coming back. Back at D23 we learned that Inside Out 2 is coming out in June 2024. And now Bob Iger confirmed in the investor call, that three other sequels are on the way. Toy Story 5, Frozen 3, and Zootopia 2. While none of this excite me as much as the Inside Out announcement, I have to admit, I am very curious about it. Are you exited for Disney to return to sequels? Zootopia has great potential to be one of the best franchises Disney could ever make especially if they start exploring other parts of the world and introduce new characters to focus on besides Nick and Judy those two don’t always have to stick around like Zootopia+ pretty much succeeded on weaving in background characters and tying those mini stories into the movie

I think it took them seven years, because the directors behind the movie straight after premiere of Zootopia began working on Encanto. It took them 5 years to finish it, so I think Z2 is in production since 2021. That means they are now working on animation since writing part (although you can expect them to polish it or even change) is pretty much done at this point.

Of the 3 sequels announced, this is the one I am most on board with. Zootopia is the film which has a lot of potential for a sequel. Hobbs and Wilde are cops so they have very easy potential of having investigations in this world. I would love more detective stories within this world like Zootopia did.

While I enjoyed the Zootopia + shorts on Disney +, I was hoping it would be more of a show where Nick and Judy would take on more cases throughout Zootopia. I'm so happy they're doing a sequel! They really did a great job on world building, there's so much they could explore in this world, I feel. The messaging of the first movie is very deep, I really appreciate when movies do that. While it's a movie you can take kids to, I feel there's so much adults can gain from it as well. Very very excited for this!!

Not a Disney-Fan, but Zootopia was nothing but awesome, because it was a big Surprise, how mature it was. No stupid Songs, great Characters, really good Story and a great Comment about Racism.

Zootopia is the best animated feature that Disney has produced in the past two decades by far, and it's not even close. I'm not surprised that the sequel was announced, I'm just surprised it took this long to announce it.

What about MOANA 2?!?! It’s the most successful movie on streaming for the past few years. Permanently in the top 5 most streamed year after year! None of the 2 Frozen movies even manage to do that, let alone Zootopia

I'm so relieved that we are getting the Zootopia sequel after 7 years! Have to see how Judy and Nick are gonna clean up the streets and save the world from other baddies! Hopit comes out later this year, hope we see a little teaser trailer soon that says "Hopps and Wilde return"

I agree with Rob. So many adult themes would have gone over kids' heads, but kids could still watch and enjoy it!

The reason it took so long to get a Zootopia 2 approved is they asked Flash the Sloth if he'd be willing to be in the next one and he just finished saying

I rewatched Zootopia when they put out their little shorts. That movie is really really good! I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner but maybe they were waiting for the right story.

Sweet, of all the Disney movies out there I think Zootopia is probably #1 on my list of ones that I think are most deserving of a sequel, I thought the first Zootopia was great and so I’d love to return to that world, of all the Disney sequel announcements that we just got this is definitely the one I’m most excited about

The first movie came out when I was almost 14. Now that a sequel is coming next year, I will be 22!
