My first Colleen Hoover book was Ugly Love as well! After reading it I went and bought It Ends With Us, I'm not done reading it but I am enjoying it a lot. Having gone through almost exactly what Lily is going through rn I find it eye opening being the third person reading about the abuse in the relationship.

Some of the writing was lazy. She magically opens her own business at 24 and Ryle’s sister just walks in and wants to talk to her? Nope.

It’s really not a very good book. Not well developed characters.. I would say 3/5. Maybe young ppl who still like unrealistic stories might like it.

This book is my least favorite by colleen i decided not to read the other book i don't know if i will check out the movie adaptation
