I love receiving hardcover copies from Book of the Month. I do the monthly subscription which is $14.99 and all of the books are hardcover. I love that I can get new releases before they hit the shelves, and an “add -on” book is only ever $10, so I honestly feel it is such a great deal for hard cover book copies.

Gotta give this book credit for not being able to predict the twists. Didn’t see Martha played a key role in the end and having to do with Petra’s death!

Great review! Aw. I was totally surprised while reading a later hardcover copy edition I got from my library I actually found that the book glows in the dark. I’ve been reading in the dark with a book light. So far halfway done with this book so far and it’s hard to put down. I may very well buy this book, especially the GITD edition.

Great review! I just finished it! This was such a pleasant surprise to me! I think it’s in my top 5 books ever! I am going to start Lock Every Door today!
Spoiler and a plot question ..

The teddy bear was confusing to me ...I think it moved around the study when Maggie was there as an adult and Hannah said she didn’t move it. What do y’all think about that ? I don’t think it ever explained.

yes! I totally think something was weird/off about Marta...and I totally believe she could have killed her daughter and/or husband and framed her husband. Especially since she killed Petra and tried to kill Maggie with the pie (at least if I'm remembering correctly; there were so many details all at once at the end lol). Seems plausible that she was a secret killer of little girls...
