The fact that the tutorial was straight up just making a mob, with all the mistakes and things to look out for during the process, makes it much easier to follow.
I've seen many tutorials, and when they follow a strict script that generates an ideal scenario, and without much explanation on the why of certain steps or actions, it kinda makes it feel more like a limited recipe instead of a flexible creative process.
Very cool and thanks for the help.

Had this on in the background, while creating my own entity, worked great! Without this I would've been stumped, thanks! ^^

This is great, I opened up block bench for the first time and started creating but I kept wanting to use solid works controls and kept getting frustrated with myself but I think im getting the hang of it. I plan on making a mod that adds alot of custom concepts and fantasy creatures to minfecraft as enemies, allies and mounts

Say dude, I got some cool models on blockbench right now (exactly 19 to be exact), and I thought maybe you could help me to make them live in minecraft, like they were always intended. Do you mind? I always wished making my own mod 🤩 your video’s are awesome btw, this series on making a mod has helped so many!

I've just recently discovered Blockbench and even more recently this video and your channel.
For texturing tip, can open it in something like Gimp or Photoshop and add a slight Noise layer on top of it just to add some random Highlights and Lowlights ... helps a bit in some cases.

I've been messing around with vanilla models to make them resource pack changeable with Optifine.

(so far lama can also look like deer, bees can be butterflies too, parrots can look like owls, pigs/cows/sheep all have actual ears that stick out from their heads... just small tweaks like that)

But I'm looking forward to going further and making completely new mobs. Gonna have to see if theres a part 2 already out. This was very informative!!

If I'd found it sooner, I'd of realized why some of the animations got funky with the mobs I'd tweaked before XD Would have saved headache and headbashing lol.

Upon clicking the "textures" option for turning the hitbox to transparent, the option for transparency wasn't there. It only said "blank." Would it possibly be in a different place? I'll keep looking in the meantime, any feedback is greatly appreciated!
