One of the greatest scenes in this season hands down.

This scene was so well done and so heartbreaking. Jen was amazing showing Emma's painful reflection of growing up feeling unloved with a destroyed sense of self-worth because she couldn't understand why her parent's gave her up. And Ginny was amazing showing Snow's guilt and heartbreak hearing her child was forced to grow up that way because of the decision she made to send her through the portal alone. Been looking forward to this scene between mother and daughter and it did not disappoint.

This scene is basically my feelings about my whole life. Being a girl who grew up in the foster system she has said all the feelings I have in one episode. Jennifer Morrison played this part so well. I'm so glad that she played Emma Swan.

Jen was amazing in this scene, I've never cried so hard at an emotional scene before. I can connect with Emma in so many ways here. I to am a Lost Girl.

Poor Emma and Snow, they have been through so much and they more than anyone deserve their happily ever afters! hope to see more mother/daughter scenes between these two in the future! Why Jennifer Morrison didn't win an emmy for this episode is beyond me.

I am not ashamed to say this scene was so emotionally powerful that i cried a bit. Not only that but what got me most was the show's soundtrack music of "Emma's Song" in the background in the end. So sad, full of longing, and hopeful at the same time despite all that had happened to Emma.

Wanting a scene like this to happen for long!!!! I love Emma sooo much, and been wanting to see a relationship grow between her and her parents, and for her to let her wall down and open up about her true emotions and her childhood. The acting was so amazing in this scene and I am so glad that nothing ruined it. I cry every time I watch this. Thank you Ginnifer and Jennifer for making this so beautiful and perfectly acted, didn't disappoint at all <3 <3

I totally agree with you. It's just how I have had this scene on my mind since the curse was broken and considering the fact that her parents have never apologised to her...however, they didn't have to, as they did what was best for her and they couldn't know the incredible amount of pain Emma went through...anyway, that scene was amazing!I am looking forward to the next episodes...

I couldn't agree more with you!!!Both of them were fantastic...I keep on watching again and again this scene!!! I was just surprised that Snow didn't apologise for sending Emma through the portal...I completely understand that this wasn't her fault and that she didn't actually have another choice, however I expected that...

It's amazing how in scene after scene between these 2 actresses who are the SAME AGE, they make you believe they are really mother and daughter!

This scene is just gut wrenching. JMo and Ginny knocked it out of the part (especially Jen) and this is right up there with the nursery scene from last season as one of my all time favorite scenes. <3

I want emma and her parents to finally tell each other they love each other maybe after they get henry back and what happen to charming.

Just my take but I think in this moment Snow realized that another apology is not what Emma needs to hear from her. Emma knows her mom is sorry but it's not enough. I feel it was more meaningful for Emma to hear her mother say "You were an orphan. It's my job to change that" because Emma knows her mother now understands the pain she caused her daughter by forcing her to grow up alone feeling unloved, unwanted and unimportant and that in order to be called "mom" now, she needs to earn it.

By far the BEST scene I have seen on the show! Hands down to JMo because she did such a great job showing those emotions. Ginny was great too, but I gotta give the gold star to JMo! Love this scene and Loved the episode!:-)
