A celebration of Professor Sanders' appointment as the UK's first Regius Professor of Political Science. The Regius Lecture was followed by this panel discussion chaired by The Speaker of the House of Commons, Rt Hon John Bercow MP, one of the University's most distinguished Government graduates, with contributions from Professor Dame Helen Wallace FBA, Foreign Secretary of the British Academy and Emeritus Professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science; Professor Anthony King, Essex County Council Millennium Professor of British Government at the University of Essex; and Baroness Williams of Crosby, Essex Honorary Graduate and Co-Founder of the Social Democratic Party.
