Our team designed 2 above-the-knee prosthesis for 8-10 year old Colombian kids. The first leg is made fully out of synthetic materials: HDPE socket, rubber foams, and PVC pipes. The second leg is completely out of organic materials: leather socket, Bogoté wood, and metal pipes. Our mission was to give our potential users the choice for which aesthetic they would like to wear.
