No not traveling. From a jump stop you can establish any foot as the pivot foot hence list the non pivot foot off the floor. Good drill, well executed.

This demonstration is not what is normally referred to as a basketball "jump stop." In the first example it is legal for the player to pivot because the player has not yet established a pivot foot. When this player lifts a foot, her other foot becomes her pivot foot. In subsequent examples shown in the demonstration, if the player controls the ball before her first foot touches the court, it is not legal for her to pivot after she returns to the court with both feet touching simultaneously. A jump stop is a legal exception to the traveling rule. Two situations when a legal jump stop may occur: 1. A jump stop occurs when a player who is in the air gains control of the ball while in the air, returns to the court with one foot, jumps off that foot and returns to the court with both feet touching simultaneously. 2. A jump stop also occurs when a player gains control of the ball with one foot on the court, jumps off that foot and returns to the court with both feet touching simultaneously. By rule, after executing a legal jump stop, the player has no pivot foot and may not pivot off either foot. The player may pass, shoot, or jump but may not pivot and if the player jumps, he or she must release the ball before either foot returns to the floor. If the player who has executed a legal jump stop has not yet dribbled the ball, he or she may begin a dribble but to legally start his or her dribble, must release the ball to start the dribble before lifting either foot.

You couldn't pour a glass of milk without someone saying you did it wrong or was the wrong type of milk or you didn't use a cup design to hold milk. Either way enjoyable drill and thanks for taking the time to even post this online good luck with your business bro.

It is not a travel bevause the girls are gathering, ending the dribble, in mid air.  Then, when landing both feet simultaneously they can choose a pivot foot.  If the dribble is ended prior to jumping then landing in the jump stop you cannot pivot.  Not an opinion, its the rule.  NFHS (national fed of highschool)

NCAA rule 4-22 defines a jump stop. NFHS rule 4-44 does not use that terminology but is consistent with the NCAA rule.
NCAA rule 4-22 states:
Article 1: A jump stop is executed when a player catches the ball while moving or dribbling with:
a. One foot on the playing court, jumps off that foot and lands simultaneously on both feet (no pivot foot).
b. Two feet off the playing court, lands on one foot, jumps off that foot and lands simultaneously on both feet (no pivot foot).
Article 2 . A jump stop may also be executed when the dribble has one foot on the playing court, initiates a jump off that foot, ends the dribble with both feet off the playing court and lands simultaneously on both feet (either foot can be established as the pivot foot).
Thus for both NCAA and NFHS, a pivot can only be established after a jump stop if the player ends the dribble with both feet off the court as in Article 2 above. Otherwise, the player can only legally hold, shoot or pass while the ball remains live

1:06 holding the ball anterior to your abdomen statically is going to get the ball stripped by defense.

Your jump stop and pivot drill is teaching them how to Travel. By Rule, once a player completes her jump stop, they aren't allowed to pivot.

The pivot after the jump stop is a travel.

Funny because all of these are travels. They ended dribbles on one foot, took another step, then landed on both feet.

Travels. You can't pivot off a jump stop.
