Beirut Breast Imaging Masterclass - BIM2019

BIM 2019 held on 4-5 October 2019 is the1st Inter University Congress on Breast Imaging, jointly organized by Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), the American University of Beirut (AUB) and Institut Curie (Paris-France) in collaboration with Centre de lutte contre le Cancer Leon Bérard, the Lebanese Society of Radiology, the Lebanese Society of Radiation Oncology, the Lebanese Society of Medical Oncology, the Lebanese Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Lebanese Society of Pathology, the Lebanese Society for General Surgery and the Lebanese Gynecologic Oncologic Group.
Offering scientific excellence in the field of radiology, the meeting gathered radiologists, surgeons, oncologists, pathologists, radiologic technologists, and other healthcare providers dedicated to breast care. Two workshops were held to address the educational needs in interpretation of DBT cases through training on dedicated DBT workstations and skills in performing ultrasound guided biopsies.
