Frankly, I was rather disappointed that Smash Bros 4 didn't add another Sonic character as a playable character.

The graphical issue with Eggman's moustache has been fixed! An updated showcase with the fix will be included in my next monthly mod compilation.

Woah I was just thinking yesterday how it would be perfect for a Dr. Robotnik mod over Bowser Jr. and then this came out. This looks even better than I imagined. The badnik for down b is clever.

This just makes me wish we had both Shadow & Dr. Eggman in Smash Ultimate as playable characters.

Shadow would’ve been a perfect addition as a semi echo for Sonic & included in the base game of ultimate, having the ultimate lifeform in the ultimate Smash Bros would’ve been a great thing to include in his reveal trailer, plus he’s literally the 2nd most popular Sonic character just behind Sonic himself, I would replace Richter and just make him an alt skin of Simon in a heartbeat if it meant Shadow would be included.

Also including Dr. Eggman in Fighters Pass 2 in June of 2021 would’ve coincided with Sonic’s 30th anniversary and he’s the character who’s been with Sonic since the beginning, while also having great potential for a unique moveset which would’ve had DLC mechanic written all over it, and his addition would’ve given us the complete set of having the big 4 most iconic video game villains in Smash (Bowser, Dr. Eggman, Ganondorf, Sephiroth) so he would’ve been a perfect addition, I would replace Min Min in a heartbeat if it meant Dr. Eggman would be included as well.

You’ve just gotta include both Shadow & Dr. Eggman to make up for the fact that Sonic has hardly gotten any representation in Smash despite being one of the most popular & iconic video game characters of all time.
