analyzing the hogwarts houses!

hi everyone! today i'm going to be analyzing what i think describes each hogwarts house + what some common attributes are. this is just for fun and is my perspective so pls don't attack me if you don't agree hahahhaha ok :)

Ravenclaws are so underrated in my opinion. Slytherins are well known, Gryffindors are obviously what everyone wants to be first but Ravenclaw doesn't get enough recognition. You could say that about Hufflepuff but a Hufflepuff got a whole spin-off series of his own!

I feel like Ravenclaw is kinda underrated. Everyone thinks we are just stuck up and annoying. Our first important mention is in the 4th book really. Of course Gryffindor has the golden trio, the Slytherin story line is pretty important and it has the trios enemies, Hufflepuff has series about them and is a big part of the story in the chamber of secrets.

i'm a slytherin and i can totally see it. i know what i want and how i get to achieve my goals, i have a small group of good friends and family is everything to me. and if i'm talking about something very important (to me) i can become soo passionate lmao

i love your analysis! the only thing i disagree with is that extroversion is a main gryffindor trait. to be brave, determined, hardworking, etc. i don’t think you have to be loud or “friendly” (in an outgoing way) at all! i’m saying this mostly because i’m a gryffindor and introverted af, but harry, hermione, neville, lupin, and many other gryffindor are introverted!

I’m personally a Slytherin, but I think Ravenclaw is severally underrated. Throughout the series, we only frequently saw Harry’s perspective on how he viewed Slytherin, but we never actually got a chance to have a whole chapter centered around another house such as Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw

You missed the most important Gryffindor trait: moral courage! Very strong sense of ethics and the daring to risk our lives to defend our principles, loved ones, and society at large. This is what defines us. 🦁🗡️ It's not about extroversion or being famous.

My group of 4 friends are each one of the houses which I think is kinda funny seeing how we all work together so well. SEE JK ROWLING COULD YOU HAVE SOME HOUSE DIVERSITY INSTEAD OF GRYFFINDOR BIAS (not like JK Rowling is very great in general) I’m the Slytherin of my group (not that you probably particularly care) slytherin pride 💚🐍💚
