I've played music for almost 7 years, written songs for 6 years and mixing and mastering songs for 3 years. I don't even have a degree. I want to get some sort of music playing job but despite what I said, I don't have the high end experience that everyone else has. Would there be any way at all to get a job in music with what I said even if I don't have a degree or a strong music resume?

I played clarinet and piano, neither very well. Unlike Dr. Vester, I have no talent, thus no musical resume. I wish I was born with some musical talent. Oh well, maybe in the next life.

Would you say this applies for a college application? I need to make a Music Resume to apply for a college and I'm torn between making it more creative or keeping it simple, and I'm not sure what kind of information would be needed then instead. Would really appreciate some help with this if possible, I have to turn it in tomorrow and have been focusing so much on the actual audition :(
