I don't go out every day and night looking for scrap .but when I do I seem to find a lot of washing machines and cookers. fridges etc. it does get inconvenient when I have a load of white goods in my garage and in my garden .but I keep getting more .like you said the micro scrapping doesn't get done because we end up bringing more scrap home .you can only get so much scrap in your shed and it becomes over run.the little things don't get finished.hope you keep one of the log burners Ian. be interesting to see what's inside that big moter you got

I bet all scrappers wish they had that problem. Never look a gift horse in the mouth no matter how inconvenient

It's nearly always inconvenient! Just the last few days I've had three ute-loads of ewaste dropped off at my shop from a deceased estate! I was smiling all the time while helping them unload - then scratching my head after they left!! 🤣🤣

Ian, you are so spot on about the inconvenient scrap. Today going to weigh in, I was up to the roof and in a street that I've NEVER seen scrap left out, guess what? I got it in, JUST! 😄👍

I like that round stock. I see more stuff in the city now that I've moved to an apartment. I don't know how long I can stay away from the scrap.

Nothing is "inconvenient". It's fascinating to receive scrap that you haven't torn apart before to see how its put together and find new metals to save and cash in later. I love the Scrap Goddess and thank her for the bounties she presents to me.

Hi Ian, yeh I agree with you whole heartedly, I got rid of a load of shrewd and a load of non ferrous, then was cleaning up the shed we it all happened, friends giving me stuff, and find stuff as I drive to the doctor. I even went away for the weekend and came home with scrap in the car. You just have to take it when it is offered.

The inconvenience is why sometimes you have to dump it off as fast as possible. When the Shed is full and you score a Lg pile of junk with a few jewels unload the junk quick & easy even if you only get lunch money so as you have room for the Fun Stuff.

Haha even the best tools in the world would be inconvenient to fit into a shed that full Ian, let alone bulky scrap!

Except the problem of free space for storing my scrap.... I would say that sometimes I have second thoughts for some "materials" (tin... shred) ....

When you got a load of scrap most the time you find loads of it
I save my non ferrious all year but once I weigh it in it
I don't seem to find as much until I have a pile of it again
I'm just about ready for a weigh in maybe next week 🤑💷🤑💷🤑💷🤑

Save up all your weigh in money Ian, and buy a L3 H3 van, which could serve as an overspill area in times of need, but would look presentable to the wife and neighbours, and also be useful for picking up scrap....if it isn't already full😃
