Unfortunately, Italy must constantly nervously look over its shoulders for the Mafia Boss's reactions in Washington

Italy needs China for various reasons. It needs Chinese investments to build up its economy and for the Italian manufacturers to sell their products to the biggest market in the world. Italy knows too that China has become one of the biggest innovators if not the biggest one leading the world in space-, AI-, robotics, green energy technology and many others. By collaborating with China Italy can participate in the growing industries and space exploration such as what Italy has done in the Chang’e 6 mission. The only thing that Italy has to counter in executing this strategy is the coercing power of the USA, is Meloni strong enough against the wolves?

Example, the current US public utilities, amenities, transport & health systems are way far behind China.
The US is 10-15 years behind China in areas of IT, AI, Fission Energy and Space hi-tech.
It's too late & too far behind to catch up with China.
Many top scientists, researchers & start-up developers are moving to China to advance their careers. US is declining year by year moving forward.

She went to indja first after she was elected as PM of Italy. But for only one day because after one day she can see clearly that indja has nothing to offer to Italy but just only lots of talking, boasting and hyping. So she left just after one day visit and went back empty handed.

A "constructive" bridge, unlike Blinken's "bridge" to destruction.

Smart move. The gross national debt is currently $35 trillion. This equates to:

$104, 497 per person

$266, 275 per household

$483, 889 per child

The debt one year ago was $32.65 trillion, meaning that the debt has increased by $2.35 trillion over the past 12 months. By the end of the 4 years term of the next presidency US debts would have reach 45 trillions.

No one country in the world currently, if it wants to develop, grow and prosper should not ignore huge China with a gigantic market of 1.42 billions people, instead work closely with it to build up long-term mutually beneficial trade & commercial relationship.

Chinese and Italian Industries are in many ways complimentary - when you look at Italy's designs and Chinese manufacturing it could become a perfect match.

Meloni inherited an advantage that no other country from the west is having . They have trade and political connections from the period of Roman empire. It was Chines diplomats from the Qing dynasty in Rome. Therefore tmin there 700 years of agreements they had good and bad relationships. But always had one .

"Lawmakers from at least six countries say Chinese diplomats are pressuring them not to attend a China-focused summit in Taiwan, in what they describe as efforts to isolate the self-governed island.

Politicians in Bolivia, Colombia, Slovakia, North Macedonia, Bosnia and one other Asian country that declined to be named say they are getting texts, calls and urgent requests for meetings that would conflict with their plans to travel to Taipei, the island’s capital. China vehemently defends its claim to Taiwan and views it as its own territory to be annexed by force if necessary."
