In my opinion, Panlos' submarine is much better, more detailed, with a torpedo room, an engine room, and generally more faithful to the original, with (many) minifigs. This one seems like a free version, and without taking advantage of both ends, Panlos has a functional missile launcher, front and rear.

Amazing Video as usual!
But there is something off about this model. 🤔 The interior seems quite unusual for a Type VII sub (torps facing backwards, enginge room in the front, no command center, gun with a gunshield? and so on) and I never heard of a "V2" variant of the Type VII submarine. I think this is a fictional model 🤔

From what I see, Panlos' sub is on totally different level. This is just a "kids" version.

Please read, i suggest making a video on the nifeliz maus tank that came out recently. It is a better design that the panlos in my opinion, but the turret might be a little loose. I would live to see this video

Cooles Modell, der Innenraum enttäuscht aber meiner Meinung nach ein wenig. Bei der Größe wäre mehr drin gewesen. Aber trotz allem ein tolles Set. Gruß, wie immer ein klasse Video....👍

Impressively big submarine. 3rd party companies seem to be competing size over all else. Interior is nice though kind of unnerving having torpedo's stored opposite the door you're sitting down to lunch to. First time I think seeing a Lego Coffee cup in a build.

My thoughts only, compared to the 628011 (U-552) this model sucks.
This cost more, has half the peice count and is designed wrong for a real submarine.
Would like to know your thoughts between the two.
And YES I do own both sets.
I talk from expirence and want to know how others feel about the cost and fun of the brick set.
I think this is a toy, not a model.
