I just finished making one but I used a treble stitch and a thinner yarn. I absolutely love it and it’s my first ever crochet so I’m excited to make some more stuff but I think yours is deff still amazing even with a thicker yarn

And when you finish the one with thinner yarn you can use the thicker one for autumn and the thinner one for late spring early summer

block it!! use a steamer or submerge it in water, dry it a bit, and then pin it in place on some cardboard. it'll be more flowy and less stiff & boxy.
