It's very common, even with non celebrities and not even about porn. I'm a guy and people always tell me, "OMG I saw a guy that looks just like you!" Or "I thought I saw you the other day in X place! And it's just a random guy with glasses a beard and a similar haircut. I sometimes think some people don't register faces that clearly and just remember the general look of a person, what also makes me think this, is a lot of people I know, don't recognize actors on a new movie or series until I point it out, like if the celebrity has a different look in their character in the movie, they don't recognize them.

Lol I get this tho, I have adhd and sometimes I look at someone at the store or smt and I’m like “is that that one person who I’ve known my entire life?” And I look at them for a solid 10 seconds and then go “ oh wait. I’m so dumb they look nothing alike!” It’s the same with names too. Like I’ve forgotten names of people who I talk to every day! I had these two friends in middle school, and for like a month I asked them everyday, sometimes multiple times a day, what their names where. You can probably imagine my grades, especially English cus it’s all memorization and spelling.

Funny how she thinks only men do that and that many of us cant tell women apart.. like does she understand that women arent any better then men? Its not like one gender is superior lady.. like ive been approached by a women at a club not to long ago and she thought i was a guy she hooked up with once (so a guy she actually met and saw in real life for at least a few hours which is even worse then a viewer mistaking someone they never met for someone else). Can we just stop pretending that all these problems were gender specific and just start saying that most people nowadays are kinda messed up in general?

I don't partake in hard-core, but I'm autistic and don't process faces well, or hair color, so I categorize people based on body type and hair style and age, so what I'm saying is, some people are just bad at processing these things and they don't actually know you so they haven't learned your "details" yet.
