The Best 1v1 Rocket League Tips for YOU | How I win my matches. Last week I did 6-hour stream where I played 50 1v1 matches against my twitch viewers, then after looking over the footage and reviewing the tips, I decided to make a video and try to explain how these players could have changed up their gameplay and the 1v1 tips they could have used to help them. This video covers 3 sets of 1v1 tips and advice that can help players at any level improve 1v1 rocket league skills.

Rocket league 1v1 tip videos are something I plan on bringing to the channel in the near future, but I thought it be best to go up against viewers first to see the kind of level we are at so that I can help improve rocket league 1v1 players across all levels. No matter if you are platinum, gold, or champion, this rocket league 1v1 tutorial type video should help you to improve in rocket league and rank up in the 1v1 scene.

For my advice to lower rank players when playing 1s is for when you get heated, just take a step back an come back in an hour or so, so you can think clearly and actually get better rather than just raging across the field, also your furniture will thank you.

Answer of the day: Mid Diamond, be patient. Most of the time, your opponent will outplay themselves and leave you with an easy goal.

I am d2-3 in 1s and my advice for lower ranks is work on your shooting, power and placement are the key, if you can master shooting u can get to higher ranks without learning any freestyle mechanics

rank 1s : GC2
advice : work on your movement speed/recover AND boost pads, if you have fast recover and u can easily get supersonic, then failing a shot or something else is not that bad cause u will be able to defend opponent counter attack instantly. And it will allow you to stay closer to the ball and keep pressure on opponent to don't let him play! (sorry i'm not english, i hope u'll understand what i mean)

I'm mid plat in 1s and what helped me the most for 1s was actually playing 2s. It's gave me a solid time to get more consistent in game while having someone to back me up when I made a mistake. It's a lot less punishing and easier to not get tilted

Thanovic: "I played against 50 viewers... Here's what they were doing wrong"

Conclusion: they did everything wrong

QOTD:
I am Diamond 2 in 1s.
Advice: I suggest waiting for you opponent to over commit, and then counter. Just be better at defense because many of my games were people pressuring me with 0 boost. Just stay patient and wait for that over commit to just drive the ball to the goal. Works every time.

Thanovic I just want to say thank you for taking your own time to help us develop our mechanics and positioning whenever you can. Every since I started watching you I was in gold for 2s and 3s and silver for 1s. After watching your tutorials and following you guides I started grinding 1s which was not always enjoyable but I knew that if I can stick to this I will progress since you will have a lot more time on the ball in comparison to 2s and 3s. After watching you 100 hours of flicks I realised how important of a mechanic it is and only focused on it for a couple weeks. I managed to get a lot more consistent and they were no longer becoming a fluke. I am now currently diamond 2 and 3 for all my playlists and I think I am able to push for champ 1 in given time Sorry for the long message but seriously thank you Thanovic.

I'm champ 3 and I'd suggest people in the lower ranks to use the backboard more. It can vary from a simple touch to the backboard, a jump, and a flip to hit it into the goal, to a cross map ceiling musty double touch.

I put off doing ones, and just started last night. Started at a silver 3, but wow, not having to worry about teammates, and being able to just focus on your game is amazing. I regret never trying it before.

I'm plat 2. The best advice I can give at this stage is: Keep your cool! In the end, everything you need to get out of gold is shadowing and a brain. If you are able to think clearly in a match, you can beat almost every lower ranked player, just because you don't play on auto pilot.

QOTD:
I am a gc1 in 1s and my advice is when your opponent gives you space use it, don’t throw the ball away, take possession and control the game.

I'm gold 3 to plat 1 and what I would suggest to players below my rank is that they should focus more on doing basic rotations, making good clears and to not double commit :)

Im D3 and my advice for all plats that want to get to diamond is simply shoot more, go practice ur shots and also stay closer to the ball since when u go from plat to diamond if you give people as much space u ARE going to be scored on in most cases because ur defence isnt that good yet.

If I could get some advice from champs I would really appreciate it)) gl guys

I really enjoy the amount of Love that goes into this channel. Focus on learning and better yourself other that focusing on the negativity that seems to plague the Rocket League community. Good on you Thanovic for your amazing videos and believing in us.
