You’re absolutely right, some people do not understand or agree even when overwhelming evidence clearly supports a given theory and it’s vastly supported by those who’ve dedicated their lives to understanding its nuance and detail. I’d say the education system has failed those who fail to understand what is well supported and widely accepted. You make a great example with yourself on that.

Of course evidence has many interpretations. Natural selection is thus far the most scientific interpretation.


And yes science does not lead to absolute certainty, nothing does.

Science is (thus far) the best way to know things about the universe. Religion does not lead to such certainty. It promotes belief rather than testable evidence. If one wants to live in fantasies, go ahead. If one yearns for truth, go with science and accept that uncertainties exist, no matter what.

Lamarckism? Punctuated Equilibrium? Horizontal Gene Transfer? Epigenetics? Neutral Theory of Molecular Evolution? You know those 'different inferences' you speak of don't contradict darwinian theory of natural selection? There is a reason why Darwinism has stood the test of time..

The same evidence can lead to different conclusions as long as those conclusions don't contradict with the evidence and the idea that humans didn't evolve directly contradicts with the evidence

Disagreeing with the conclusion is not proof that the evidence is false nor that the conclusion is false. Evolution is a fact, deal with it.

Religion doesnt lead to certainty-_- im religious my self bit im not so blinded by faith to think it was all my awnsers religion is stories and guidelines do not steal not not kill for example its the basic guidelines to being a decent human being

The goal of science is to remove speculation. Speculations may exist and as an opening for proof gathering and empirical data analysis. Debates are to refine findings and theories or create new ones that need to be empirically proven. That’s the part of scientific process.
