We all know Apple’s ecosystem is renowned, but since I switched from my iPhone 15 Pro Max to the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 6 Months ago, I discovered a better ecosystem experience overall. In this video, I'll discuss what makes a good ecosystem, why Apple sets the standard, and how Samsung might surpass it. Samsung’s integration across devices like phones, tablets, and even home appliances is a compelling alternative. Discover why leaving Apple's ecosystem for Samsung might be the best choice, offering more versatility and, most importantly, choice, than Apple’s closed ecosystem.

If you could build the ideal ecosystem out of any brand, what would you choose? (phone, watch, headphones or earbuds, tablet, laptop, etc!)

I use a windows laptop, an ipad and an Android phone in my daily life. I also make sure the apps and accessories I use are on multiple platforms. I don't have brand loyalty, just buy best products based on my needs and budget at the time of purchase.

The god's honest truth is you don't need all this stuff. You're probably just fine with what you have. Save your money, don't work away your life to buy all this. I like tech as much as the next guy, in fact I built my career on it, but it's not worth all the time and money dumped into it. Trust me. Go fishing.

Honestly. from the standpoint of a developer, I just love Googles ecosystem, mainly because its so universal and device agnostic. I know that, whatever device I use tomorrow, I will be able to sync it with my Google account

I'm a huge advocate for Samsung's Ecosystem, more people should delve into it especially if you prefer android but think that Apple is the only brand with a proper Ecosystem. I also preordered Galaxy Book 4 Edge which will complete my Samsung ecosystem.

As a Samsung user, nice Samsung ad.
But for real, Google Drive Docs Keep Calendar Mail etc is the best 'ecosystem'

Remember if you have the entire Samsung ecosystem
Samsung is not in your house, Samsung is your house

I recently switched over to apple and fully bought in.. Everything you'd actually use just works. My airpods automatically switch to any device I press play on, any iPhone app that can utilize the watch automatically just does, the laptops are lightyears ahead of comperable priced windows laptops.

They might be slower to move, but they seem to always put their foot in the right spot.

I love the Samsung ecosystem for this very reason. It allows for an open ecosystem and plays nicely with other apps.

As much as I want to switch from Apple to Samsung, I just can’t stand the design of the Android OS. It feels choppy and bulky, and its appearance seems like it’s meant for children. Plus, it varies depending on the device you use. I love Android devices but cannot get past the OS. Apple devices are repetitive, and their ecosystem could be much better. However, the OS is clean, and regardless of the device, there is no lag.

The eco system drives me crazy. I wanted to go from my iPhone 13 to a Samsung or Pixle however I already own an iPad & AirPods. The way you can switch between audio on the iPad and iPhone without going into settings is just magic. So I "upgraded" to another boring rectangle iPhone 15 and with how easy phone switches are it's hardly a difference

S24 Ultra clearly a game changer. I'm switching gradually to Samsung. It's great.

The thing is when people talk about ecosystems like these they don't care about their dryer, washing machines or fridges being smart. It's a cool feature IF you want to use it, but I don't know a single person who went out to buy any of these with the requirement that they fit well into their preferred ecosystem at home. From what I see people mostly want their PC, phone, laptop and maybe their TV to work well with each other.

I've been lucky enough through my jobs to try loads of different phones over the years, and I can confidently say that Samsung's ecosystem is my absolute favorite. Between my Fold 5, Buds2 Pro, and Watch 4, it's such a fluid and open ecosystem that pairs way better with others, such as my Govee lights, Tile, and Chromebook (Lenovo Duet 5). While I have a great appreciation for what Apple has built, there's no comparison in my opinion.

P.s. - if you're considering something new like a foldable, it is a GAME CHANGER. I could never go back to a boring old slab phone, even though they have marginally better cameras.

Great video. The shrinking of software ecosystems to specifically fit the Apple product line has been a trend for a while. Home products have never been a part of the ecosystem because it wasn't a large part of Apple's ecosystem.

The experience of connected devices has been a sticking point for Android recently, combined with the user experiences frequently ignored by Apple users I'd imagine the ecosystem case for Apple won't be as strong in the coming years.

Samsung wins all eco system battles, the phone, tablet, buds, watch, fridge, robot vacuum all sync together, and that's the tip of the iceburg on what you can link

I mean the potential definitely is there, but after watching your video on the apple system I'm not convinced any other party offers the extreme elegance and convenience
