I was sort of forced into camper van life 5-6 days a week for three years when traveling out of town for work, some of it remote. It was cheaper than staying in motel rooms. One becomes an expert at finding faucets for fresh water, the many free dump stations to empty the black water tank, and places to purchase propane for the propane freezer/fridge, the cooking stove, the hot water heater, and radiant heater to keep warm on cold nights.

Yup we did vanlife pre pandemic, our channel never took off, now we would rather rent a car and stay in a hotel to travel. Vanlife kinda sucked, finding a space to stay in a moment notice. We are glad we are still nomads but no longer "wheeled wonders 'safe travels 😊

Free showers at every truck stop, just ask a driver if he will say he wants a team shower. You will get 2 separate showers.

I completely startled when you showed the laundromat lol - I used to live literally across the street lol. 😂

Being homeless sucks. Young people are forced into this garbage by the 1 percent. America, with everything being plus size, including its people, is ripe for this type of money saving thing. But as they raise the gas prices, probably will end this stuff. Nothing will replace a house. But it's a clever solution to build some wealth.

2 hours to do laundry? Do you shower from your van also or just when you drive for a shower? That’s a lot of gas money to go do a dump and laundry.
