The Paxman Academy Series 3 is a very fine horn. While it is designed and built to fit a student horn budget, it outperforms many student horns made today. These horns were designed by Paxman and built by the Briz horn company. Both Paxman and Briz are known for excellent horns, and this collaborative horn is no exception!

Many Geyer-wrap horn players will say that the Geyer wrap tends to have a bad high Bb. When looking for the perfect Geyer horn, you want to playtest the horn on that high Bb. This horn completely passed the test, with a beautiful high Bb that plays perfectly in tune. Of course the rest of the horn also plays very well.

Included is a Marco Magic case in fair condition. It looks worn on the outside, but still works very well and is in good shape internally and has great latches. No mouthpiece is included, but I can include a mouthpiece if requested.
