I'm happy to show you the return of team sonic in baldi's basics, a remaster of the most popular video of the channel I guess?

The literal correct answer is 22/2 simplified to 11/1 which is 11 wholes.

Explanation of this:

Making the Common Denominator:
First to even add them, we need to find the common denominator between the 2 and 1, its one as one is a prime and I think 2 is also. Then Multiply 1x2x1 to get 2, you have the LCM/Common Denominator!

Making the Uncommon Fractions, Common:
First we make the LCM to a Denominator and we get _/2 (Halves). We then put the original fractions to a common fraction for both. For 6/2 to _/2, easy its 6/2 as the denominators are common. For 8/1 (8 Over One) you first multiply the denominator to the common denominator you found, _/2 for this instance we just do x2 for the denominator. We now have the fraction's denominator equal! We then repeat for the numerator and we get 16 as the product. Put that as the numerator and we have 16/2!

Adding the common fractions:
So now this is the extremely simple part, just add the numerators of the common fractions!

6/2 + 16/2 = 22/2!

Now you need to simplify for the answer as its possible for this sum.

Simplifying the Sum:
Divide by the GCF of the sum's numerator and denominator, for this one its 2

22÷2=11
2÷2=1

Put those quotients together and you get 11/1! Obviously it is 11 Wholes and that is your answer!


I literally typed out the 6th Grade strategy to solving this, okay?



If its not fractions, but its adding quotients this is the sum:

This might be fractions I don't even know if its (6÷2) + (8÷1)

The equals literally 11 if its that and here's how its done.

First get dem quotients and they are 3 and 8 because 6/2 is 3 and 8/1 is 8.

8+3=11.
