Implementation details
Thin clients are used in International school based on ICSE syllabus, compared to normal school syllabus, they use advance software for students training
40 thin clients allocated to 2 different servers
School management decided to implement thin client on LAN as school lab was already with LAN cable option
Server/ Host system configuration
Intel core i7 10th gen
32 GB ram
OS on Nvme
Server and thin clients are directly connected via Ethernet cable to dlink switch 100/1000 Mbps (we could have used 100 mbps switch - but used 1 Gbps switch so that 40 thin clients should not create network bottleneck)
G1 thin client firmware’s are well tuned so that it won’t consume much network bandwidth, uses 20-30% bandwidth on 100 Mbps LAN as per the client consumption
G1 Thin clients are intended for Customers who desire best performance and quality at a lower price...
