Arado Blitz / War Thunder

Jet aircraft are a very special part of the German air forces of the WW2 era. After all, the Luftwaffe were the first to accept a military aircraft with a jet engine into service… and the first to use their jets in actual combat.
The German Me 262 Schwalbe is an iconic fighter aircraft, known far and wide for its effectiveness in air battles… but there was also the Arado 234 Blitz — an excellent jet bomber that is often forgotten in the shadow of the more popular fighter. That’s hardly fair though as the Blitz is often considered one of the most sophisticated aircraft designs of its time.

Man now that the Arado B model has three seperate bomb drops, and of course it still has the amazing grey camo. The 6.3 Arado is still the best CAS option for that BR imo

It would be nice if it didn’t take us ten years to get this far down the tech tree. It’s almost like watching a nature documentary of all the planes and vehicles I don’t see.

Last time I was that early, Luftwaffe still had air superiority, and wunderwaffe was considered a viable solution

The Arado Blitz is by far my favorite early jet, I also use it as a fighter although it wasn’t designed as one

Fact: You can ram enemy planes with the arado and the arado blitz.

I will never forget the anti-bomber spam campaign waged by the 234 pilots ramming allied bombers in air RB. Back then, they were heroes.
