Only days ago, this video changed my whole perspective on the music industry. I fought my way into the music scene, 20 years ago, only to be ripped off by managers and A&R people. 10 years ago, I admitted that I don't understand the process, and gave up.. Last week I saw Cody, offered to me through my YouTube "recommended" list. So beautiful and so unique. I was sure she had the win.. but they cut her. I think I understand, now. The music industry is looking for people who fit the mold.. If you don't fit... you don't get in. It sucks.
