For a country that invented the game they sure have trouble remembering the rules

When we make a mistake it hurts, but we learn more by our mistakes than our successes. Dean was a good player, now she is a better player, she will be a great player.

It's called cricket, because when you explain the game, everyone is silent.

People say it’s not in the spirit.. the rules are literally the spirit of the game. If the batter doesn’t want to go out, don’t walk out of your crease, she probably did it 35 times before she stumped her. And it’s seriously distracting to a bowler.

Rules are to be followed and she did it 😂

For all non cricket people: i think the person on the right with a bat (non striker) wasn't supposed to cross that white line (leaving the crease) until after the pitcher (bowler) had released the ball. I think.

To my understanding there's about four people worldwide that actually understand this game

You are not supposed to leave the crease before the delivery. That's cheating and should be treated stringently

Batter made the choice to leave the crease, bowler made the choice to stump them out. Good job.

Thats cricket. Kapil warned Kirsten and still Kirsten repeated the mistake and Kapil then made him out similar way. Ashwin did it. Even Deepti is right its in laws of cricket, probably the English team has forgot their own game rules.

What I love about cricket is that even after someone explains to me what happened, I still don't understand what happened.

Well done! This is just a professional athlete who knows and understands the laws of the game and used it to her advantage

Mankad: The term “Mankading" is named after Vinoo Mankad because of an incident that occurred during India's tour of Australia in 1947-48. In the second Test match of the series, Mankad ran out Bill Brown, the Australian opening batsman, at the non-striker's end as he was backing up before the ball was bowled.12 Apr 2023

They should make a rule if the bowler crosses the second line at the crease without delivering the ball. That ball should be considered dead. She over step the white line and went back and stumped her. Should of been a no ball for crossing the line

I think a warning first and if it isn't heeded, then a Mankad is the outcome if repeated... However, a warning would bring it within the spirit of the game...
