This is really good!. But I'd love to have an in-between option. There's the CK61 with light weight action, and the CK88 with fully weighted keys. I'd like to have a 73 keys, semi weighted action, like the YC 73. Also, a software edition with replaceable sound libraries, would be a much welcomed addition. Thank you!

Great job Yamaha as always. I know the U1 sample has become popular, but whatever is the successor to the CP88, I personally would prefer a better sampled U3 since the U3 is the better sounding piano while retaining that upright sound. To my ears, it sounds like the sample of the U1 is of a higher quality than the U3 on the CP88, and I think the U3 is deserving of the same attention. Thanks for the consideration!

Love the attention given to keeping dimensions and weight down in this series. Still waiting for a 73 note C-C keybed from Yamaha. As long as you can minimize the dimensions like you've done here, it's the most practical size for hitting the most important notes. Most 76 key keyboards end at F, which makes that size a bit of a dud, and now forces us to spring for the 88 key when we'd much rather have a smaller & lighter machine that's a little more practical than an 88.

Can you edit and save the sounds? One of the reasons I am getting rid of my Roland Rd-88 is lack of sound editing. I wanted to adjust the ADSR envelope attack I couldn't so it's basically a rompler.

The sound set is extremely impressive. Like a lot others here having been saying, though. A 73-key model would be great. It’s easier to transport than 88-keys and has a fuller range of notes than 61-keys. I’ve been a fan of Yamaha keyboards since I was a kid, but I have to wonder why this 73-key size is neglected. The YC and CP 73s are a bit outside my price range, and I prefer the CK for stage use as opposed to the MODX7. Help us out!
