Good Morning TA. Thanks again for getting my Saturday up and going. Nice fish! It's surprising what you can catch and where you can catch it at times. Keep up the good work! Later.

I’ve had that rod since the kickstarter and I agree the shorter lengths are great

Thanks for the video and your opinion on the Mutant. Really appreciate the info on the handle. Sounds like the Mutant's handle is shaped a lot like the handle on the Dragontail Talon. I love the way the Mizuchi casts but it's a little too stiff for me. Your review makes me think the Mutant is exactly what I was looking for. I won't know until I get it, but my gut says the Mutant is going to be very popular with those fishing in the Appalachia mountains. Those zoom lengths are the ideal compromise for most of the trout water I've fished in VA, western NC, and northern GA.

"this is a good first Tenkara Rod"
excellent, already threw money at the kickstarter to use this as a first rod... so that makes me glad to hear!

Another great video and awesome catch of big fish in that small stream. Just got my brother to get his first Tenkara Rod catch this weekend. I typically use shooting line as a floating line in lakes... it's cheap, floats great, easy to cast and less of a hit than any Tenkara companies branded floating line. I am not a fan of level line, but don't fish streams too often. my brother and I both netted 6 each out of an Oregon lake (Clear Lake), all 10" or better, with largest at 14"... I use Tenkara USA Amago. I appreciate your videos and time with tips and reviews. Cheers.

Sorry you didn't find your drone - here's a tip for your next one. After losing and luckily finding mine a few times I bought a Zenlife luggage tag which works on bluetooth I think. If you know the general area and particularly if it is stuck in trees/bushes, it gets you within a few feet of the drone. Also painting a couple of fluorescent orange stripes on the arms makes it stand out from the foliage.

I recently got in to tenkara, I bought the mizuchi zx340 I love the rod but the casting is harder in the tight areas. Anyway the rod is great it's hard to get used to the hook set when using a spinning rod. Thanks for reading and love your videos you inspired me to start TENKARA!

Love watching your videos and buying your yarn..it helps a lot when just starting Tenkara fishing..also would be a big help if you would narrow down the name or close area of the streams and not just the state.. thank you sir

Where did you get the sun guard hood thingy?

I have a ten foot rod but a 12 foot line. And I feel like the extra length is causing my casts to be whipy and floppy if I don’t give it enough energy. Would there be a solution to this, or to buy a new line?

Tristan, as you were going through the thick brush I wondered if you ever got into ticks and how you would mitigate that sort of problem?
I fish in the same areas as you do and find that I accumulate ticks - even after spraying repellent all over my pants legs and shoes. I assume that as I wade in the stream I wash off the repellent.

I think that the rod being in the shorter positions is more than likely giving it a little more backbone. Having it collapsed is making the rod a little thicker closer to the base and I believe that it might be making it stiffer also. Just my guess

I tried the utah killer bug or whatever it's called and did nothing. The fish said what is that? I should've tried the PA killer bug since I'm in PA? : )

Nice catch! I noticed a bit of green forming on some of the rocks. Is that normal or is that possibly due to run off from agriculture?

Pecher sur ce petit ruisseau n'est pas facile... bravo pour la vidéo. Quelle est votre application d'insertion de texte ("surprise") sur votre video youtube ?
Bonne journée. Philippe de Fréjus (France)
