the fresh foam bb v2 is so comfy i’ve been wearing them casually all year - no other hoop shoe this year comes close in terms of pure comfort.

the liren 4 v2 is my favorite from this year. but every shoe here is awesome. good to see a different brand in every spot 🔥

I haven’t played a single second of basketball this year but based on what I use my shoes for (running, gym, and casual wear), I think your list captures an accurate snapshot of what seems to be happening in the industry as a whole: Nike is still capable of making a noteworthy performance shoe but is no longer head and shoulders above everyone else, as they seem to have pivoted towards their shareholders rather than athletes. The other big brands have caught up and each have several options that are competitive with what Nike is doing--usually at a better price point for similar tech—and there are several smaller brands that have filled in the gaps. Overall we have llots of options, and that benefits us as consumers and as users. My feet haven’t felt this good in a long time.

I totally felt the same way about the KT10 after a first couple of wears. I had doubts and regrets but after about 2-3 more wears after that, they do slowly start to feel great honestly.
