Watching this in September of 2021 puts it in such amazing context. Larson, the odds on favorite to win this year’s Cup edging it out over the defending series Champ in Chase Elliott with Blaney right there behind them.. None of them had a regular season win at the time..

5 years later they’ve combined for 1 overall series championship, 1 regular season championship, 10, 772 laps led, & 31 wins.

Throw in guys like Bowman, Byron, Custer & Bell (combined 9 wins in Cup) with Briscoe joining this year and Cindric + Burton in 2022.. The future is ridiculously bright.
