Ichigo’s True Bankai was stronger than Base Yhwach, since he had to use “The Almighty ” to break Ichigo’s sword. Also Yhwach stated this himself.

The reason people get so up in arms about these battles is because they use them as a proxy for validation. When they ask, "Who would win between Naruto and Ichigo?" They're actually asking, "Which character, and by extension series, is objectively better?" They then equate the worth of the series they like to their own self worth, and the question becomes, "Am I and the rest of my fandom objectively superior to the fans of this other show?" Their entire self-identities become attached to the worth of their favorite character pitted against another.

Problem is, that's all completely ridiculous and illogical. The strength of a fictional character does not determine your worth as a person in any way, shape, or form. If your character loses, it does not make the character worse, the show worse, the fandom worse, or you worse for choosing them over the other. There's no need to get upset over it, or to feel threatened by it. Move on, people.
