How said I discovered Celtic Thunder too late to see this fellow in real time; but, so great to have discovered them. This is a lovely rendition of the Story of The Massacre at Glencoe. I knew about this part of my Clan’s history as a child and being a Campbell was horrified by it. It caused me to research into the history of the Clan’s of Scotland and their allegiances to the British and the how and why these terrible things occurred. We are so fortunate that when emigrating from the old country to the New World they did not bring their enmities with them as is so prevalent today..

On a bus tour through Glencoe in 2003, the tour guide played this.  Not a word was spoken during it.  You could FEEL the history.  Very haunting and I'll never forget it.
