MS Access Session 7| Auto ID Creation in MS Access| Auto Filled linked Sub Forms| Case Management

In this 7th Sessions on MS Access, we will discuss, advanced Forms, automatic ID or Reference Number creation (Customizable Autonumbering Field), auto-filled subforms (auto-updated fields), Queries (with some additional command). By Auto-ID I mean as how to make a field that auto generates a combination of numbers and letters to make a unique ID from different fields in the table, such as databases for case management or different intervention with the same beneficiaries etc. where each case needs a unique identifier, etc.

In previous sessions we covered Tables, Simple and some advanced Queries, Forms and Reports, String Concatenation, age from DOB, Age Group, adding calculating Fields like Count Addition Percentages, creating Sub Tables for activities/ routine data and applying validation and links with main table/ database (Master and Child Fields)
