Easiest way to fatten up a skinny trunk is field growing. Or in my case use a spare space in one of my sunny flower beds.

I'll see how these little euonymous do this time next year and either turn them or lift them.

Planting in a pond basket is perfect for this as the roots that have grow through can be easily sliced when they need worked on.
