It depends on if it’s a Black man asking a white person. It also depends if it is a Black woman. White people are not willing to admit that they have biases or just plain old racist.

Thanks for the video;
People have tendency to prepare themselves for the worse scenerio and lower their expectations. This tendency may effect subjects's answers before asking strangers to land their phones or participate to a survey. Therefore, their answers may not show their real expectations/estimations.

whether or not a stranger lends you their cellphone depends also on the cultural norms in their society.

On this one I would question the premise that it's our influence but rather our underestimation of the kindness of people and their willingness to say yes to a request. I think people totally underestimate that and this vid shows that. Great videos!
