I just got the J2k and it hits better than my Selkirk Amped Pro Air. I luv the Kevlar surface great spin and control... Comes with a nice cover as well!

I ordered the J2K was suppose to ship on the 19th shipped on the 28th their projecting it gets to me on July 17th must be coming on a paddle boat.

I decided to order the J2K pro during initial pre-order when the J2K pre-order was sold out. I've been play with the J2K Pro and I'm liking it so far.

My J2K hit great right out of the bag and after a couple weeks really getting it dialed in. Not the prettiest paddle lol (even w the blue) but it does everything I want it to. I love it.

this review put me over the edge. I have now ordered the J2K. Engage Pursuit Pro's are my go to paddles so it will be interesting to see how this works out. I typically go for elongated but tried a 6.0 Ruby and it was ok. I've also tried the Franklin Signature and Diadem so far go back to Engage Pursuit's. Marketing drives me crazy, I just want to find "my" paddle and stick with it.

I requested and got a swing rate under 113 actually was 112.27 With a paddle weight of 8.17
You can also add some weight on the paddle close to the handle to lower the balance point with out affecting the swing weight.

Excellent review! The J2K is by far one of the best paddles of 2024 and completely outdoes the overhyped and over-priced 6.0 Ruby giving you just as much, with a much better price. For those that want a bit more power, go to the J7K which is also spectacular. I fully agree with you in your interpretation of what people need ... in a world that has become fixated on "power", the reality is that pickleball is more about control in several facets of the game - this is what most players need.

After communicating with them through emails, I put an order in for a j2k that was around a 113 swingweight. They sent me a 8.10 oz blue one, but one side is much grittier than the other so ill be returning it. A little disappointing since it does seem like a decent paddle.
