It is always humbling to learn that people you grew up looking up to have insecurities like you do. He was my favorite wrestler growing up because I always saw his narrative as the smaller person overcoming larger adversity which I found inspiring and it helped motivate me to accomplish things when I had no support system. Hearing about his own insecurity in that way makes the sentiment much more powerful.
