Afghanistan is currently ruled by the Taliban. The country has gone through 40 years of war. Superpowers like the Soviets and the USA tried to control it, but they had to leave Afghanistan. We will see how life is under Taliban rule, examining the situation of women and the general opinions of Afghan people about the Taliban. Most importantly, we will explore how 40 years of war involving the Soviets, Afghanistan, and the USA with the Taliban have destroyed not only infrastructure but also the very lives of the people. For one month, we will investigate the situation in Afghanistan under Taliban rule in 2024.
