I love this promo because of the parallels with Shawn's career in 1996-1997. He went through so much at the time, saw what being cocky and arrogant was like, how he was burned by the business, had to relinquish the title, etc but now he's grown and matured, and is guiding other wrestlers now with great potential

It’s unfortunate that Solo had to vacate the title after retaining against Madcap Moss this past Friday on SmackDown. But, rules are rules. Hopefully things will change at Halloween Havoc with the ladder match for the vacant NXT North American Championship.
