A relaxing walk through the snowy forests of Germany

Hi everybody, how are you doing? Today I'm exercising the privilege I have to see cool places and take you all with me... in a much smaller way than usual!

Hey, we're all in this together, unable to go anywhere (apart from you, my 3 fans in NZ). All we can do is get out and stretch the legs and try to stay positive.

So today I'm showing you a forest in southern Germany in the snow that we had in Jan/Feb this year.

This is kind of a silent hiking film but a silent stroll around the forest film. I'd love to use local places like this to build up some fitness for making travel hiking videos in the future. So until next time, I hope that you enjoyed a walk in nature in Germany in the winter with me today, and I do have some more planned that I can share with you.

We are so short staffed with coworkers also getting sick so I ended up working today (my 5th 12 hr shift). I can tell you that this "small gesture" is so huge for me. The scenery is so beautiful in its simplicity. I pictured myself looking up when you showed the sky point of view. I imagined how beautiful my photos would be with all those trees covered in snow. Every time I watch your videos, I always think...gosh, I hope I get to experience that place too in person! For now, thank you for letting us live vicariously through your experiences. This video was definitely a nice relaxing thing to watch after a long shift! Pls keep sharing =)

i live about 50 km away from the bodensee and i miss the snowy forests so much. winter is amazing in south germany, hopefully we get a lot of snow this year. :)

Just perfect. My spirit is a little unsettled today...sort of a impending doomish feeling. We have a huge snow storm on the way. I can see on my weather radar that it's about 50 miles away going to drop 12 or more inches of snow tonight into tomorrow with 6-8 more coming on Wednesday. So, Tom....this video took away my anxiety, and brought peace. You have a naturally calming voice. The accent makes your voice almost hypnotic. I kept focused on your steps. Stunning! Reminded me so much of my walk home from school as a child. We lived in the forest. The trail was much like the one where the trees came up on both sides and I also passed a lake and walked through a creek. Quite a daily journey but an unforgetable one.

Tom - that was a very good video - very beautiful in the snow. Since the Covid mess started I started hiking every morning somewhere out in nature for about 90 minutes - it has really kept me upbeat and it’s been a wonderful way to start each day
