I used an iWalk for six weeks after foot surgery. It was awesome. I could get around and use my hands to carry things or push a cart. I heard I could golf with this and I believe it, with a cart of course.
This should be first choice over a knee cart.

Great product. Keeps weight off bad foot. Takes a little time to learn but I’m getting better.

Buddy was stepping way too far ahead in the first few steps there (which given they're already in the middle of a store was probably on purpose to be goofy). I've got one of these and it is very intuitive and stable once it's properly adjusted. Huge quality of life improvement over crutches.

I just got it. Have been trying to get used to it before surgery, but it is just too unstable for me. I will keep working on it, but not feeling optimistic.

I'm just so scared of falling; it feels like I'm slipping.

Glad that you're having fun but I think crutches are a whole lot safer!! LOL!!

I hurt my toe and used one to limit how much I walked on it. I had pains in my tigh after using it for a whole day... Maybe this goes away once you are used to it, but it works really well, I have stairs at home too so i walked up and down the stairs quite a lot too

Just had tendon repair and am using a knee scooter. Not a lot of independence with it and hard to make u turns in small spaces

the freedomleg is way more sturdy safer and keeps pressure/wear off the knee and shin.

I got this and a knee scooter; I can't really use the iwalk, but the scooter is good for around the house. I just had 2 week post op appointment after ankle fracture surgery. I've got about 3 and a 1/2 weeks until I start gradual weight bearing; I thought, for me, why take a chance on falling and hurting myself. It's really not that long to be out of action. I'll focus instead on resting, healing, keeping up my strength, and catching up on some things I haven't had time to do around the house.but the scooter is good for around the house. Glad you did this video because my crutches are awful to use and very painful, this looks absolutely abnoxous, inconvenient and dangerous to use, it also looks painful to your good leg in the long run, today I purchased a new knee scooter and so far it's pretty awesome..

Well, after watching how he almost slides, I would rather go with crutches. Definitely safer

I didn’t like it at all. Just way too heavy and felt like I was going to fall.
Returning it

Just a fall waiting to happen. If he had surgery, it's just a readmission & more surgery to non-guaranteed recovery &/or long/life term limb deficit.
