In 2018 God revealed to the world, through his prophet and mouthpiece president Russell m Nelson, that we'd been doing things wrong for nearly 200 years. We'd been calling ourselves Mormons.
Nelson announced this is “a major victory for Satan” (4:29) and christ “is offended”
How did we get it so wrong for so long? Didn’t we have other prophets who could have told us this sooner? (Just one long, continuous senior moment?) Why didn’t god stop us before we spent millions of sacred tithing dollars on the I’m a mormon campaign?? (and 5th avenue billboards) And why are those videos still on youtube, offending jesus every time somebody clicks on one of them?? I'd been calling myself a mormon my whole life! Am I still worthy of love? Of forgiveness? How can I live with myself–(error)
Obviously this is completely ridiculous, and there is no bigger smoking gun that the brethren don’t know THE MIND OF GOD (Either president nelson is not a prophet or all the men who preceded him aren’t. Or none of them are) than the fact that 16 prophets thought mormon was perfectly fine but number 17 is afraid to say that name like he’s going to accidentally conjure voldermort. (He who must not be named, with an arrow pointing to Mormon)
