'Spearmint' (Insane Demon) by Vlacc | Geometry Dash 2.11

Vlacc is one of few creators who have been creating and releasing levels consistently for many years without major breaks. It's always a joy for me to see new works by him due to how classic his design style is. This makes it unique by itself released now as design levels typically rely much more on many details and glow these days. However, even though I called it "classic" it still doesn't look outdated, at least to me personally. Things like the custom saws at 0:43 and 1:12 are mixed with great block designs and structuring. My personal favorite part about this level is the color scheme, which admittedly wasn't Vlacc's own idea but rather the rules of the contest this is for. It's for Zeronium's creator contest, and the main rule requires using green, pink, and white. Without knowing any of the other entries, I'd guess this entry has a good shot at a high placement because of how good it is. He picked great shades of the colors and mixed them perfectly alongside nicely synchronized pulses to the song. I may have to check out some other entries after seeing this sick color scheme at display here.

As for the gameplay, this is pretty much your typical Vlacc gameplay, featuring fast and precise timings with many orbs and portals. It should be near the same difficulty, Insane Demon, as many of his most notable levels. If you're familiar with his usual gameplay and find the challenge enjoyable, I'm sure this is a level for you. With the quality in mind, it can't get anything less than an Epic rating. As always, special thanks to Floppy for recording this showcase!

It is so interesting to see how far Vlacc has come, from levels like Black Off, which was, im pretty sure, one of the first rated hard demons ever, to this. Wow. Just wow.
