This was so helpful and still short and sweet. I didn't know the difference between glycerin and wax water based paints. I need to pick up a white and black with a wax base since detailed lines is what I like, but haven't been able to do easily.

I'm a beginner with Wolfe paints since my drama teacher wanted to use them on the younger kids for their lion king play and honestly I was frustrated with them at first but over time I've grown to like the Wolfe paints.

for grey I mixed white foundation with a bit of mehron tube of black cream paint. dries awesome and long lasting for a statue shoot

Thank you so much for the water-based glycerine vs wax explanation! I did not know there were two kinds of water based paints. So helpful to see the Pros & Cons in writing! I've been using Mehron Paradise & Graftobian paints but I own two Wolfe palettes I haven't even used yet. Great learning tutorial. :)

I bought tag face paints online for my first dabble in face painting and I haven't had a chance to use them yet. I was really nervous because I didn't know a lot about face paints at the time I purchased them so when you said that it was your favorite water-based face paint I felt so much better about spending $40 on the set. :) this video was super helpful and I'm excited to start playing with the paints!!!

You say TAG is your favorite, I commonly use Wolfe, but I have some major problems with certain colors staining. Does TAG stain like Wolfe does? If it doesn't I might have to switch to TAG paint!
I learned a lot thank you! I didn't know there were two types of water activated paint!
