Sony State of Play February 2025 Livestream

Sony has announced another PlayStation State of Play that will take place on February 12 at 2pm PT / 5pm ET |  11pm CET / February 13 at 7am JST. The show will last over 40 minutes, and will focus on news and updates on great games coming to PS5. Stay tuned for IGN's Beyond! post-show to discuss everything revealed in the State of Play!

Compared to Xbox Direct these PlayStation State of Plays do a very poor job highlighting the games. For example, I am a Lies of P fan but if I wasn’t, this trailer would not have convinced me to try it. That teaser did nothing for me and the same thing goes for everything else showcased. Very underwhelming.

Aside from a small handful of games, it’s sad that some of the most exciting games on this system are collections of older games we already had and played on prior systems. 🙁

No ghost of yotei, no bloodbounre, no god of war sequel, no kingdom hearts iv, no wolverine and no Spider-Man 3. Why is Sony announcing all these games and then never talking about it again? Honestly, in a word, this is just irresponsible. This Soras game or whatever, not interested. Sorry. We already have deathloop and returnal.

I will be casting the darkest umbral spells on Sony for what they have done to not only the playstation 5 fumbling, but worst of all the bloodborne neglect. As a PS1 fetus / ps2 kid I've chosen Sony through every generation and I am warning you, you are losing your fan base slowly. Wake up now and start making better games or lose everything.

Always been a huge fan of PlayStation since I was a kid with the first one. I feel like there not using the full capabilities of the system. Plus I feel they are just remaking the same games over and over again kinda a bummer for this year
