Scream 4 Confirmed (David Arquette and Courteny Cox Sign On)

What do you think of Scream 4 being made? And also if you lied the series what was your favorite?

i liked the Scream movies, but then again I was a teenager at that time...don't know how much I'll enjoy it this time around.

Who's to say that Sid and her bro weren't behind all this? Who's to say that Sid truly loved her mother? Afterall, she did say "I always thought I had the perfect mother" Maybe Sid was truly the person behind her mother's death. Sid and her brother couldve found out about each other, without their mother knowing. Sid could've gotten pissed at her mother for keeping ANOTHER secret from her. Sid and her bro conspire to have their mother killed out of revenge.

I'm pretty sure Neve Campbell hasn't said anything to the public about Scream 4 other than she is being negotiated with about starring in it.

Which still means that she may or may not want to be a part of it. I hope she does.

Okay, haters to the left, I loved the Scream movies and their commentary on horror movies in general, but making a Scream 4 takes away from the whole idea of the series. 2 was about sequels, 3 was about triologies. What tropes do 4th movies have? WHERE'S RANDY!?

Also in the 3rd one Randy said that the rules of the movie applied to the CONCLUDING chapter of a TRILOGY. 3 totally turned the 1st one inside out and tied details back to the beginning. It was so a final wrap up. We don't need a 4th.

1 and 2 were good fun as long as you realised they weren't meant to be taken too seriously.

Felt 3 just went too far and felt more like Scary Movie than Scream.

I was a fan of the other scream movies so I'll definitely see this. They have the writer of the first two movies writing scream 4 so there's a very high chance of it being good.

Sometimes movies are best just in trilogies but once movie makers step out of line and do a 4th and beyond it kills it because most of the original characters are not in it. Like Harry Potter and other series of movies are exempt but common ones like Scream are not necessary.

i agree with u. that's where all these movie series get ruined when they make a whole new cast and give it the original series name. like all the new american pies, bring it on, friday 13, halloween, that fast and furious toyko drift. if they r going to have new characters they should really just rename the whole movie

I think they should have never made a sequeal after the first Scream. It was perfectly fine the way it was. I hate it when the creators make good films and ruin it by making part 2's. Although I did enjoy the beginning of Scream 2, but I will see Scream 4 anyway. Btw you're kinda cute for an old guy ;)

Jamie Kennedy may be coming back to as Randy Meeks although no confirmation has been made.Wes Craven said once before that he'd like Randy to come back and that would make number four totally worthwhile.He sets the rules and the playing field after all.The fourth one will be out in October 2010 and it has even been suggested that they will be a spin off for a remake of the first three.Neve Campbell has confimed she will be in it, returning for the role of Sidney Prescott.
