I found an older podcast with Dr Mark Hyman two days ago, I have been consuming all of Dr. Pimentel information since--and I cannot begin to express my gratitude for his years and years of work in this area⚡ helping so many people! I am already feeling better! I really believe the proper time between eating is a huge part of the healing as well!

An excellent video, if a little technical for the layperson. I am convinced I have SIBO but I cannot even get the basic breath test from Kaiser Advantage Medicare that under office conditions is covered by Medicare. It’s still not reliable they claim, contradicting the literature. Any suggestions as to where I could get it done in N. Calif.? Then the question arises: where does one get the tests described in this video? I assume one would have to go to Cedar Sinai to get them. Anyone had experience with the time it takes to get an appointment and the cost thereof, as KP will not refer me? Thanks.

Question: Is doing Xifaxan for 14 days and then doing Neomycin for the next 14 days the WRONG approach? My sister has Methane SIBO. Her GI doctor treated her this way, but she is still suffering with all her symptoms….especially trapped gas and bloating. Can she do another round (Xifaxan + Neomycin) but this time be on both at the same time? Help needed 🙏🙏🙏

Have been diagnosed as having IBS, but breathgas tested twice and both are negative for SIBO. Symptoms include daily bloating and nausea, upper and lower abdominal pain, vomiting in sleep, plus periodic sudden projectile vomiting which turns into retching for 3 or 4 hours at a time, and can be accompanied with diarrhoea. Anyone got any ideas?
Have had at least two empirical treatments of Rifaximin....no improvement.

How would lactobacillus be treated if it were causing issues in the small intestine? Would that also be considered as Sibo since technically it is a bacteria thriving in the small intestine? Would a Sibo breathe test pick gases up from lactobacillus?
