My mum and I did this hairstyle (very tiny) when we travelled to Ghana for the Christmas holidays in 2022. Mine took 5 months and hers 6 months. I had lots of compliments from strangers and work colleagues. Now, the pros and cons as well as tips from my personal perspective.

Pros: Last long time if you maintain it very well. People may mistake it to be your own hair like sister locks. Hair doesn't look heavy, very light. Try and dry clean your scalp weekly to prevent it from smelling. To maintain the hair from looking too dry, get towel in lukewarm water and just put on the hair, plus a little bit of mousse.

Cons: Takes long to get braids if you go for tiny sizes. I took it down by myself because I was not prepared to pay over £50 in a salon to just get it down, so it took me 2 days (Well because I was doing other things in-between). I lost some minimal hair on my edges but a bit more on my overall hair. I got my hair back because of the aftercare of how I treat my hair.
Next time I go to Ghana, I wouldn't go for tiny sizes again but a bit bigger to save me 9 hours of braiding time and also save my hair.

I'm a hair braider and I do micro twist, I specialize in doing short hair and I charge $150-$200 to do micro twist. Because I feel like some braiders overprice their micro twist and their very easy to do I do very well in my craft.

Any plans of posting 3 wks review post hair install? Did the hair tangle a lot? Is it really 100% human hair or a combination? Can it withstand heat if I attach it to my locs and get under the dryer?
